A quick meal
Well, this is not a cooking blog, but this is the fastest way to cook a decent meal that I couldn't help to share with you all...
Ingridients: fish fillet / Zucchini / prosciutto / spinach
Step 1) slice Zucchini lengthwise into 0.3cm thickness, sprinkle salt on zucchini slices to make them soft, so that Zucchini slices will be easier to shape in step 2.
Step 2) lay fish fillet, put 2 Zucchini slices on top of fish fillet, add prosciutto on top layer, then roll fish fillet as wrapping a bottle of wine, set aside all fish rolls.
Step 3) put rinsed vegetable in a deep bowl or microwave save pan, sprinkle olive oil, salt, may add few finely sliced ham or pancetta to give vegetable more flavour.
Step 4) put fish rolls on top of vegetable, cover fish n vegetable with microwave save lid or wrap (please do not let plastic wrap touch your food), in go the microwaver. Cooking time is approx. 3 - 5 mins in 1200W power)
Step 5) take cooked food out, move fish rolls aside, mix vegetable well with cooked juice, then lay vegtable on serving plate, put fish rolls on top of vegetable, then dig in!
I put a bit of pesto sauce on top of fish roll, but it's optional as proscuitto gives enough flavour to fish rolls

neither here nor there,

Visiting garden center - North Ryde/Eden Gardens /
A weekend without a plan, nor agenda, and there's nothing interesting in the box, therefore, to visit "Eden Gardens" became a best option to us, it turns out to be much more than a nursery visit.
Eden Gardens, http://www.edengardens.com.au/, is a massive garden center, which includes a large nursery center, a shop selling indoor/outdoor garden decoration kits, books, a cafe offering meal and drinks, and large display center of designed gardens, they even provide club members few patches of squared garden, where club members can grow own plants.
The Dragonfly Cafe is a big cafe with indoor and outdoor seating, we enjoy our lunch in a outdoor design garden featuring of plants, sculpture and water fountain.
The meal was nice in quality and quantity, but unfortunately coffee was poor, I'm unable to mark it in my favourite breakfast cafe list, what a shame...
After lunch, we walk around the display gardens, it's a huge display center with different themes of garden design, such as oriental, heritage, anti-allergy, herbal, water floating...etc
We come across an area that club members can adopt a patch of land and grow their own vegetables, the gardener in Eden Gardens will water these plants regularly. While we visiting, a lady just arrives and harvests her vegetables :-)
I really like this interactive program between shop and customer.
Here are some photos of Eden Gardens to share with you,

Sydney Festival 2011
(Art Gallery of New South Wales) 看展.

Who needs firework for New Year celebration!
Victoria, Megalong Valley, Govetts Leap, and Mt.
We spent New Year holidays in Blue mountains instead of watching fireworks near harbour side..., for some reasons, Australians were surprised of our plan, and we had realized it when we were in Blue Mountains, because it's very hot, the weather was actually higher than Sydney without temperature balance by ocean wave.
We have visited north part of Blue Mountains and skipped tourist towns in the south, I found villages in north are much more peaceful and full of characters, we have been to Mt. Victoria, Megalong Valley, Govetts Leap, and Mt. Wilson during our stay.
The B&B we stayed is a nicely done accommodation in a tranquil land - http://www.rusticspirit.com.au/
Despite of heat, it is a very pleasant trip.
PS.

Christmas Downunder
Christmas party.
但也發現溫度不同, 過節氣氛差很大, 北半球在低溫中, 街上靜悄悄, 屋內熱鬧團聚, 紅的, 綠的, 金的耶誕裝飾, 讓餐桌上的噴香烤雞, 龍蝦鮭魚更加美味, 溫馨過節氣氛是從每一扇窗戶中透出來的;
Christmas preparation in downunder is pretty similar to northern countries, Christmas season started from numbers of pre-Christmas party, Krist Kringle event, Christmas shopping and house decoration.
I find people from “The North” has difficulty to fit in Christmas downunder, I reckon the main reason is because of temperature.
Traditional Christmas celebrates in house due to cold weather, but Australian celebrates it in great outdoor, it’s a shame not to embrace big sunshine and soothing breeze, therefore, many Christmas gatherings take place in flora gardens, green parks or sunny beaches, people will have BBQ or open buffet as Christmas meal.
This Christmas, Andy held his first Australian Christmas lunch at Balmoral Beach with me, the one having first Christmas event, and his colleague Bren, the one having first sunny Christmas.
ps.

Christmas lunch with salad, grilled tiger prawn, and stuffed salmon, clam with tomato sauce
餐後點心: 洋梨塔, 起士, 水果, 巧克力 pear tart as dessert, to go with cheese, fruit and chocolates
大餐吃玩, 娛興節目開始, 兩人努力排拼圖 (Andy 的教母给的耶誕禮物) Bren and Andy are trying to solve the puzzle given by Anne
We watch SYD to Hobart Yacht race on Boxing day
Emergency rescue is well prepared for special needs
Yachts set off in SYD Habour, after North Head, they are out of SYD Habour and into the Pacific Ocean
ps.
